Rachel, I don't know if I will be able to do the laser tag thing, just because I have to work the next day. We shall see.
So I just found out from my mom tonight that not all of my cousins will be coming to this family reuinion thing this summer. Granted, I kinda figured this. I knew that some of my cousins wouldn't be there because of recently giving birth or work conflicts. However, I was completely unaware that so many cousins whose company I can actually stand will not be there! It is so unfair. Not only will I be bombarded with questions about college (a subject I am not comfortable talking about with people that, for all intents and purposes, are strangers), but I will not have the luxury of distracting myself by talking to people I enjoy. Granted, I will be in one of my favorite places. Nicktown is to me what Put-In-Bay is to Laura. I will get to see one of my best friends. I will get to see some of my favorite relatives. However, the people whose company I don't particularly care for will be there en masse! I'm not even sure who I will be able to confide in, as I won't have the luxury of a computer. Which brings me to my next peeve...as of Tuesday, I will probably not be on-line and thus, a lack of updates is sure to ensue. I'm not comfortable typing one of these with my six year old cousin looking over my shoulder. In all honesty, I doubt that I will have the luxury of free time until the 25th. I will try my damndest to keep this update and give you details into what is sure to be an...interesting week. The only thing I am really looking forward to is the Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit game that is going to happen. I wonder who is the true Harry Potter Freak in my family? Later Days! |
