I just finished watching "Donnie Darko" with some girls from the hall and, Laura, I won't tease you about your obsession with that movie anymore. It made so much more sense the second time around! Oh man...I'm pretty much drained after that, but I did want to at least say that much.

I had a really nice evening tonight. Because so many girls were leaving for the weekend, we decided to go out on the town. We got dressed up and went to one of the fancier restaurants in the city (by fancy, I mean I spent 9 dollars on dinner) and went for ice cream afterwards.

While out and about, we kind of came up with the idea that our hall is like a sorority. In fact, we are creating our own sorority! It won't be one of those Greek sororities...anything but. We are simply a group of girls that have a tight bond. We are calling ourselves "The Sisterhood"...we are going to get shirts and have a song and a motto...it is going to be fun, I think.

All of this is really just a way to spend the time. When I get time to myself, all I think about is how unhappy I am and how much of a mistake it was in coming here. I'm dealing, but I'm not always enthusiastic. In fact, I am seldom enthusiastic.

In any case, I had a fairly pleasant night tonight. I'm glad I had the chance to talk to some of you on the phone. I hope you have a great weekend in Lakewood!
