I must say, Megan and I certainly had an interesting day given the fact that NO ONE WAS HERE! Honestly, I never realized how much human interaction was a contributing factor in my college life. I literally wandered the halls aimlessly this morning. I sounded very sad on IM simply because I was so bored. So I apologize for that.
Around 2:00, Megan and I went to lunch at Shriver and over to Wal-Mart. There, I bought some hair dye (More about that later...), some lotion, and a poster with the characters from "Finding Nemo" on it! I have looked for this poster everytime we have gone to Wal-Mart and today I decided to look in the OTHER poster section. Lo and Behold, there was my poster. For $3.00, I think it was completely worth the wait. When we got back from Wal-Mart, I went over to the Rec to have excercise sex with the elliptical machine. Seriously, it was magic. Upon returning from the Rec, I decided it was time to do the task I had set out on doing for some time now. I dyed my hair. I was so worried that it was going to look bad and, though it will take some getting used to, I really like it. It is a brownish color with sections that are darker and some that look like they have highlights or something from where the blonde can still be seen. I was just so tired of being blonde...I have done it for 18 years. Plus, my hair was bleached so much over the summer from being outside that, as my hair started to grow, the roots started to show. It made me look like I was a peroxide blonde or something. So I decided that, instead of looking unnatural when it really was, I would just take the plunge and change completely. I really like it. This may become a habit for me, but I'm not sure. I really enjoy my newly brunette status. Around 7:00, Megan and I decided that dinner was the next order of business. We invited Javier, one of the freshman guys that lives in our dorn and actually stayed this weekend, to come with us. As we were walking back, we saw the Miami Metro, the bus system, coming towards us. Now, keep in mind that we were less than two minutes from the dorm. However, I said that, should the bus stop, we were going to get on and ride it back to our dorm, as there was nothing else going on. 30 minutes later, we made it back to the dorm. When we came in, we saw that one of the other freshman guys was here. He had to come back early so that he could go to his water polo match. Burrell invited us in to watch "The Lord of the Ring: The Fellowship of the Ring" I couldn't tell if he liked me or if he was just in the mood, but there was a lot of cuddling going on tonight. Luckily, he has a girlfriend, so I don't have to worry (I am not interested in him at all). So that, in a nutshell, was my night. Hope you enjoy reading about it as much as I enjoyed experiencing it. |
