As AOL is being a durpshire today, I lost the entry I was writing. I'm going to try it again as accurately to my first entry as I can.
Today is Thanksgiving, so I thought I would just take a few minutes to say what it is that I am thankful for. 1. Family - I know that I have complained about them, but my family is very dear to me. I may not see them that often, but I know that my relatives think of me and love me. I honestly wish that I could see them more often, but I get by knowing that they think of me and love me as much as I do them. 2. Education - I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to go to both a Catholic school and a public school. St.Luke gave me the discipline and moral lessons to help me become the kind of student I wanted to be. Lakewood High school gave me the diversity and freedom to relax a bit from those former rigors to become the kind of person I wanted to be. 3. My Mom - I know that she falls into the category of family, but she is so much more to me. She has given up so much over the years to make sure that I was properly cared for and happy. I may not always show how much I love her and am thankful for everything she has done for me, but I think she knows. 4. Mullet Nation - No list of things that I am grateful for would be complete without mentioning the Mullets. I said this to Katy the other night and I will say it again...You Complete Me. I feel like I am the best version of myself when I am with all of you. When we can't be together, I carry with me the memories of you all and it gets me through some rough times. I hope you all know how much you mean to me. 5. AIM and Diaryland - These have been such amazing outlets for me. AIM has given me the opportunity to talk to so many people that I rarely get to see while Diaryland was a medium for me to vent all of the feelings that I was to afraid to talk about in person. Without both of these, I'm not sure that I would have gotten through the past few months. 6. Miami University - Surprised to see this on the list of things for which I am thankful? Well, I guess I am a little as well. But as I sit here thinking about the things that I am grateful for, I realize that Miami University has been very beneficial to me. I'm not sure that I have changed all that much, only to say that I have become the person I was in high school to the nth degree. Being so far from home forced me to become independent, as I rarely get to come home. I was forced to grow up and figure out what it was that I wanted out of college and life in general. There aren't many things that I really like about Miami University, but I am glad that I was able to get into a school like this one. I don't know that I could be happy there for four years, but I know that this one year has been and will continue to be very good for me. 7. The McNasty Family - Confusion has probably set in, so I shall explain. The McNasty Family is a group of people at Miami University that I consider to be my friends. The "Family" consists of Erin (Ernass), Crystal (Crasstle), Elisabeth (Eagleass), Brittany (Britnassy), and Chris (Jackass). Erin, Crystal, and Elisabeth are really the only ones whose company I love all the time, but the group as a whole has been wonderful for me. I will miss them next year, but Crasstle and Eagleass are going to Luxembourg next year, so I know that we will all be spread out next year...I hope we stay in touch. Okay, so I think that this wraps up my entry. There are so many other things that I can mention because there are so many things for which I am grateful. I wish all of you a happy and safe Thanksgiving, and I will talk to you soon. There's some things in life I need There's some things in life I want
